Dave Poe, the Dave of Sam and Dave’s BBQ has been slow smoking competition quality BBQ for the past 34 years. After only a few years in the business, Dave became the first Grand Champion of the Georgia State BBQ Championship. Since then, Dave has accumulated wins in numerous states up and down the East Coast. Dave has been preparing legendary slow-smoked, time honored competition BBQ since 1975. At that time, Dave co-founded the family catering business, Stump and Sons. Dave Poe has catered BBQ parties for the majority of the fortune 500 companies here in the Atlanta area and throughout the Southeast.
